Contemporary challenges

6 thematic blocks, speakers and panelists – scientists, practitioners and a full hall of listeners – this is how the 2nd National Scientific Conference “Contemporary challenges and directions of development of modern nursing” was held in Warsaw on May 15, 2025. Medcam – the Gold Sponsor of this event – listened with interest to the issues raised during the meeting in relation to the latest scientific research and changing legal regulations, namely those concerning:

  • priorities and challenges in selected areas of development of care and nursing and midwifery staff in outpatient care;
  • nursing from the perspective of practice, science and education;
  • development of independence of nurses / primary care nurses in the aspect of systemic changes in health care, including new challenges for primary care nurses working, among others, also in school hygiene;
  • nurses and male nurses as health educators – innovations in patient health education;
  • selected aspects of coordinated care in the outpatient care team;
  • broadly understood long-term home care and challenges for the system due to the shortage of nursing staff in this area.

Modern nursing is an activity in the area of care, health protection. But it is also scientific research and innovative solutions, education and professional development of nurses and efficient organization and supervision of the education system. These and many other issues raised at the 2nd National Conference fit perfectly into the solutions and services we offer. We are glad that we can be your support in areas that are not always what medical specialists know best and that thanks to our tools and support it is easier for you to cope with all the challenges posed by modern nursing.

We would like to thank Dr. n. o zdrowiu Grażyna Dykowska, Head of the Institute of Health for Nursing at WSIiZ for the invitation and we hope that our paths will cross with you in more than one place!
